GENCON 2024 is a wrap! What an amazing show! We had over 60 players, held our first in person tournament, and sold completely out of our demo boxes over the course of 3 amazing days!
Last year we introduced Grimpath to the world at Gencon 2023 so it's a special place for us, and after this weekend we are sure this will be an annual thing for years to come! So make sure to sign up for next year's convention to make your mark on the battlefield, and take the title of Gencon 2025 warlord champion!

CONVENTION INFO
3 DAYS OF EPIC BATTLES
We setup 8 stations a day, and had players seated at each of them for almost every session! With 15 minuets of instructions, players drew their hands, and faced off against each other with everything they needed to battle! This year Gencon really reminded us how easy it is for new players to get into wargaming with Grimpath! We started with only a few
people signed up to our tournament, but every day we'd get a new conscript for the battle (more about that below!) and everyone had great things to say about the game.
We've almost doubled our presence since our first appearance at Gencon last year, and can't wait to double it again or more for the next one!
GRIMPATH FREEPLAY
Become a warlord in this casual setting where players will learn how to play Grimpath together—then sit down and face off against each other or play with members of our team!
PREMIUM LEARN TO PLAY
In the Premium Learn to Play, you'll walk away with your own introductory set with everything you need to sit down and play against your friends and enemies: 2 decks, cardboard mini's, a battleboard, quickstart rulesheet, and dice.
GENCON TOURNAMENT
This is your chance to showcase your skills and compete for glory and prizes! Players will chose their favorite deck, and will mix their own favorite cards from an additional booster pack to show off their tactical & deckbuilding skills!
OUR EVENTS!
We brought 32 Premium Demo boxes to give to players that signed up for our premium demo, and we handed over every one! What a great feeling it was to see the excitement players had both while they played but when they got their box!

Players got to test their mettle with our first official in person tournament! Drafting from 16 additional cards to mix and match with any of the cards in the premium demo's each strategy was different! We saw some Hex casting agents of shadow, heavy artillery from the goblins, and a whole lot of zombies! Check out some of the cards from the tournament booster below!
TOURNAMENT CHAMPION
Taking the lead early, the epic warlord Calranos took home our first official tournament plaque! Using the heavy artillery he rallied a warband of goblins and threw everything, including the kitchen sink, at the enemies face! Giving him 2 wins in a row, putting him clearly at the top of the stack this year. Congratulations Carlanos, you are a true WARLORD!
But never forget, Calranos you're a marked man now! Every warlord in Grimpath will be gunning to take you down next year. So to all you new conscripts out there, and warlords that were lost in battle this year: sharpen your blades, and tighten your tactics, because revenge is dish best served, ON THE BATTLEFIELD! at Gencon 2025! See you next year!
THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES...
We've already got plans for our next big battle, we'll be heading to the awesome Gamers Guild in Arizona, September 27th.
