Rules
Initiatives have no timing restrictions. They can be played at any time, including during other players' turns and while another spell or ability is waiting to resolve.
After an initiative card is resolved, move it into your discard pile.
Keyword: Evade
Evade is a status effect that prevents the next instance of damage dealt to the mini that has it. Once that damage is prevented, Evade is removed.
For example: a minion with 1 health and Evade is hit for 1 damage. The damage is prevented and the minion stays at 1 health, but Evade is removed. Any damage dealt to it after that resolves normally.
To use Evade, choose a mini. It gains Evade until the end of turn or until it is dealt damage. When that damage is dealt, it is prevented instead. Evade is then removed and all subsequent damage resolves normally.
Strategy
Take advantage of the Initiative card type when you play Natural Reflexes, using it as a reaction to an enemy attacking or dealing damage to a mini you control. The Initiative type allows it to resolve immediately and will prevent the incoming damage.
