Rules
 
When you recruit a minion from your barracks instead of your hand, if it has the Soldier subtype, you may place it on any unoccupied, traversable space on the battlefield rather than only along your starting line or adjacent to your warlord.
 
Strategy
 
Instead of playing an Influence card on each of your turns, you may choose to rally a minion instead, placing it into your barracks the way you would an Influence card. By recruiting your minions from the barracks while playing with Lucian as your warlord, you'll be able to place them right in the face of the enemy.
 
Combine that with haste, to deal damage to anything on the battlefield from anywhere!
