How it Works
Whenever you make an attack with Vaelithra Swiftshadow, against anything, on your or your enemies turn, you may move an exhausted influence card that you control to the ready position, it can then be used immediately.
Keyword: Range
The Range keyword allows players to target and attack minis on the battlefield as many steps away as their Range keyword's value.
A mini (miniature) is within range if you can move it onto the same space as its target. You may allow for diagonal movement when determining if a mini is within range (as if it had the keyword: Flight).
If your target is standing on terrain above you, you must count the steps you would take moving up that terrain, but not down, allowing for a slight advantage for minis on high ground when attacking minis below.
Lore
"Don't excuse them, we tried to teach them!"
Long ago, the forest was the birthplace of all life. Every living creature in the realm drew breath beneath its canopy. But the spirit of adventure and the hunger for power drove many of its children outward, away from nature's protection, to explore and conquer.
The Elves of Grimpath never followed.
From the forest's edge they watched as the world of men took root, sprawling into empires that swallowed the wild lands and left countless creatures without shelter or sanctuary.
Some elves withdrew deep into the heart of the forest, where they tapped into nature's regenerative power and built elegant hidden cities and empires of their own.
Others made a different vow. They cast aside all desire beyond what nature provides and planted themselves along the forests edge, silent guardians ready to meet anyone who dares trespass with swift consequence.
Vaelithra leads them.
Born of High Elvish royalty in the sheltered depths of the forest, she turned her back on that life by choice. She walks among the wood elves now, standing watch over the trees and every creature living beneath them.
